On Your Marks…..Get Set……GO for Glory!
It’s time to put on your thinking cap, don your team uniform and get creative as you go head to head with companies from all over the world, in the 2021 Corporate Games!
With the option to play virtually or together in person, all you need is a smartphone or tablet along with a computer if you are playing virtually and you will have everything you need to represent your team across 10 events in the quest for Games Glory. Each event is designed to challenge you in a variety of ways, such as trivia, problem solving, creative photo and video challenges and much much more. You are free to complete the 10 events in any order you choose, just as long as they are completed before the closing ceremony in order for them to count towards your teams score. Each event is worth a different number of points and the more creative you are, the more points you will score. The top 3 teams will make the podium, but only the team with the most points will win. All results will be announced during the closing ceremony. Has your team got what it takes to win Games Glory?
THE EVENTS:
During the Corporate Games just like a decathlon, teams will compete across 10 events. Each event will challenge the teams on knowledge, skill and performance, as well as creativity and enthusiasm. The referees review all footage (like photos and videos) and score them based on merit. Complete your events at anytime during the open dates.
DATES: AUGUST 2nd – AUGUST 6th 2021
- OPENING CEREMONY
The Corporate Games Opening Ceremony begins on Monday 2nd August at 1pm AEST on Zoom.
The Opening Ceremony is a live presentation on zoom. Here you get to meet the head referee, you will be given an overview of the Corporate Games, provided with some tips and tricks on competing, as well as the opportunity to ask some questions if you need to. This ceremony will be recorded and posted on the website so those who cannot make it live can watch it at a later date.
- CLOSING CEREMONY
The Corporate Games concludes with the Closing Ceremony on Friday 6th August at 1pm AEST via Zoom.
This is where the final scoreboard is revealed. The GOLD, SILVER, and BRONZE medals will be awarded to the worthy winners. These 3 teams will receive their medals via courier after the event.
WHAT YOU NEED:
To compete in the 2021 Corporate games all you need is a team/s of no more than 6 people, a smartphone or tablet, and a will to win!
Virtual Teams: If you are entering a team that are all playing remotely (working from home), we suggest a team of 4 is best, but up to 6 is OK. Each team member will need a smartphone and a computer. Simply connect with your team via your preferred video conferencing platform (ie: Zoom/Webex/Teams) and play the Corporate Games on your smartphone or tablet.
Live Teams: If your team/s are together in the office, we suggest teams of no more than 6 and they will only need one smartphone per team. They will simply work together side by side on each event, and enter their submissions on the one team phone.
HELP LINE: You will have direct contact to the head referee box if you have any technical issues or want to submit a protest. The hours of contact will be 8:30am – 5:30pm AEST. **FYI – Most protests get thrown out!**
COST PER TEAM:
The cost to enter the 2021 Corporate Games is $200 AUD per team. All entrees must be received by: FRIDAY 30th JULY 5pm. As a business you can enter one or as many teams as you like.
HOW TO BOOK:
To register a team/s to represent your company in the games, simply download the PDF on this page, complete it in full and return it to the e-mail address listed on the form by: FRIDAY 30th JULY 5pm. Once your registration has been received, you will receive a welcome letter along with your unique game code and registration instructions. It is all very simple!
