The Survivor program was fun and engaging for our team. Everyone could participate in some way, shape or form. The competitive sides of our team came out and it made for a good competition. The support into the lead up to the day and the running of the day were exceptional. Darren and Nicole were very clear with their instruction, encouraging and genuinely interested in getting to know our people. They were very efficient and flexible on the day. We have had an overwhelmingly positive feedback from our group. They really enjoyed the day and most people want to participate in a day like this again. Thank you for helping us run a successful team building event. Darren’s suggestion of dressing up and creating a chant pre-event, really made our team communicate and collaborate even before the day began! Even though some people were worried and apprehensive prior to the event, they ended up providing very positive feedback and enjoyed the day!

The Program:
- The program was challenging as well as entertaining. The activities were certainly varied enough to challenge on several fronts while still allowing success and even a few laughs for all who participated.
- Venue was good and convenient but gave us the opportunity to “get remote” from the office so we could focus. Activities were simple to understand (some more complex than others to actually do) and provided a great opportunity to bond in our groups.
- Program was interesting and thus well received by participants.
- Well prepared event with a good selection of team participating activities.
- I really enjoyed it – it was a fantastic opportunity for me to know my team members better and see different side of them.
The Co-ordination:
- The co-ordination was well done and seemed quite well planned.
- Co-ordination was effective and appropriate.
- Games were well organised and well timed. Combined team learning with having fun too. Training leader was well prepared and with an easy-going style, great communication skills.

The Facilitation:
- The facilitation on the day was good. Messaging was clear and aligned with the theme of the earlier office based theory activities.
- Excellent for the selected program; relaxing, close by and overall very convenient.

The Adventure Quest program was the best we have had, even the person that couldn’t walk due to ankle surgery was involved. The feedback over facebook has been very positive. We will definitely use you guys again. It was fantastic. I kept it from the team, to build up the excitement. Katie and Darren were awesome. We had a great time, the team will be talking about it for a long time.
Our Pirates of the Swan program was a fantastic day and very well run by Darren. The sailing was unique and bought out some characteristics in the guys we hadn’t seen before and the activates after the sailing had a great balance of team work, skill and requirement for clear communication.Whilst we arrived a little late due to some coordination issues, we were met with a smile by Darren who helped us pick up lost time by having everything so organized and ready to go. The event ran smoothly and the activities were fun yet challenging enough to keep everyone enthused.
I think the balance on the day between on the water and land activities was perfect. The location was brilliant as it provided enough shade during the land activities and even the sailing club locals cheering us on as we participated.
The communication from first contact through the website, to execution on the day was also perfect. It made it easy to organise with little effort from our side.
Our Adventure Quest – We loved it! This was the second year in a row we’ve booked one of your programs and I had a staff member come and tell me that other than his wedding, this was the best day of his life!!
Extremely professional and well organised! Support was on hand the whole day and only a phone call away while we were on the road. All our “special requests” were catered to and helped make the day such a success.

Our Charity Bike Build program was absolutely fantastic. The team from Total Team Building were professional and efficient, a wonderful event. Having the children come in at the end made it all the more meaningful. Their co-ordination was excellent, they were efficient, prepared and kept the crowd in check. Wonderful, would definitely recommend this to other organizations.
The team really enjoyed The Vault and the activities. One of the best aspects of the program was that the group had to operate as one team rather than multiple competing against each other. The feedback/debriefing session at the end was also a very nice touch to the whole session. Everything was well organised and completely prepared for. The only hiccup came from our end with the meeting room not supporting the IPad. Darren was very well spoken, encouraging and very responsive to the team dynamic. Just a huge thanks to you and Darren for a wonderful afternoon!
Myself and all of the team participated in the Vault Event which allowed us all to interact and communicate openly with one another regardless of positions in the organization. It also allowed some of the less vocal members of the team to have their say and take part which is something we all gained from. But more than anything it provided us with the means to enjoy ourselves and have a laugh with no inhibitions of it being a work event.
The coordination and organization of the event, location, timing and lunch was all taken care of by Total Team Building as a package thus allowing me only one point of contact which made the day more pleasant and hassle free. Thanks to you both for making the day a great one.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the “Ransom” challenge and working together as teams to ultimately get to the final location.

Treasure Hunt Program:

If was a lot of fun which allowed us to develop a more friendly and yet professional relationship among the team.
It was great to be a part of this program. As I hardly get any chance to spend time in the office so it was good to interact with the team and get to know each other.
I thought it was excellent, the mix of activities between physical activities and challenges was perfect.

Nicole did great to set it up perfectly. Everything was all good and ready to go. We didn’t have to face any delay or any issue during the event, so I would say Nicole did outstanding work.
Great, everything went to time and flowed smoothly. A couple of times when we were falling behind we were given little clues to help us solve things, which was great – not enough to change the placings, but just enough to make sure we finished (a perfect balance).
She facilitated well and looked after the teams.

The team was not aware until we got to the event what we were doing. They thoroughly enjoyed the activities and were absolutely humbled by the children when they arrived to accept the bicycles. Whilst as a team we are very active in fundraising, this is the first experience where they could physically and emotionally see the benefits to the community. The program co-ordination and facilitation was brilliant. Thanks Katie and Darren for an absolutely seem less experience.
Our Treasure Hunt program was run really well and was enjoyed by all of us. It was a great opportunity to get out of the office and have a good time, we love a bit of competition and so we enjoyed all of the challenges that were presented to us. Each activity that we participated in was challenging in its own way and kept us entertained and on our feet. Katie was extremely helpful and answered any questions I had straight away. Considering it’s a busy time of year and a lot of programs were being run at the time, I was given all the assistance I needed and more. Darren was excellent on the day. Very friendly and welcoming. He ran the activities with ease and helped everyone where he could. He explained everything very well and put up with our overly competitive nature. Thanks again for running such a wonderful day. Safe to say the team will be talking about it for a while!
The team thoroughly enjoyed the Pirates of the Swan program, it was great to get out on the water and we had a beautiful sunny day to top it off. The activities are great and so was the chocolate! The day was enjoyed by all! Katie’s flexibility around our changes we appreciated, nothing was too hard or too late for her and I know we likely created re-work for her, we appreciated the fact that nothing felt like too much trouble. I was impressed by her professionalism and high level of customer service. Darren was great, we met him at the Yacht club and he laid out the plan for the day. It was clear and concise, and the team building activity at the end was great too. Just thanks again!!!

The whole Adventure Quest program was wonderful and the communication was excellent in terms of getting everything setup and ready to go for the day. The co-ordination was wonderful. I didn’t have to think about a single thing as it was all taken care of for me! Basically the only task I had to do was send through the trivia questions and even that was made very easy for me. The app is great and the fact that I could get the images and videos taken from the app almost immediately was amazing! Dean was awesome and accommodated us so well on the day. His communication and grouping together of the staff in their teams was excellent given that there were 100 people all with hangovers! The whole experience was 10/10 thankyou! The buzz in the room following the activity was exactly the outcome that we were looking to achieve.
Our Office Olympics was a great program! Having the flexibility to choose the length of the program and the frequency of events being released was fantastic, especially with all the challenges that come from working from home and about half the team being part-time workers or casual.
The whole thing was expertly coordinated!
Darren did an excellent job of facilitating the program. He was enthusiastic and engaging when we had our opening and closing ceremonies, and always available to chat if people had questions or were experiencing any technical difficulties.

The program (as always) is engaging and tailored to the teachers expectations of the students. This year it was team work, and the activities linked closely to getting students to work together. The overall theme, Survivor is also fun and competitive and gives students incentive to work hard at their activities.
Each year we have this event it is always well organised and well prepared. Whatever is needed for each activity is always there. The grouping of students was well co-ordinated, fair and well thought out.
All facilitators were professional and well organised. They all interacted with the students well and were engaging in their manner.

Darren got everyone engaged and they all took part. Even the ‘head man’ who, because of their culture would normally stand back and let everyone else do the work. The temptation was too much and he joined in too – we even got a photo of him with the glue gun!

Web Profits greatly enjoyed the program and the intensity (and competitiveness) that came with the various games as part of Win it in a Minute. Many of us were quite sore the next day from pushing ourselves to the limits! And the winning team did not make the losing team forget that they won – they continued wearing their medals, just to rub our faces in it… !
The coordination of the event was great. Jason made sure one area of the home we were staying at was as appropriate as possible for all the games to take place in. After the finish we were immediately summoned to dinner and Jason cleaned up the area completely, which was much appreciated. We look forward to using another game at another one of our conferences in the future!

Never had we experienced such madness that was involved with a Scavenger Hunt as we ran around Brisbane CBD taking photos, talking to strangers and collecting odd items. Everyone got really involved and had a fantastic time which was easy to do when you had a great facilitator (Teresa) who expressed such enthusiasm for the event. Total Team Building did a fabulous job in organising the event especially with such short notice. We contracted you on a Tuesday requesting that the event be run on the Friday. You pulled it together so quickly and easily – it was very impressive! Teresa, our facilitator was great. She had awesome enthusiasm and explained the day’s events very well. Everybody had a great time – full of fun and laughter. All the staff agree it was our best Christmas party event yet! We had lunch at a local restaurant afterwards and everyone was just buzzing as stories were exchanged. Thank you for such a great time!!

The coordination was seamless. The organizer Darren found plenty of time to meet and greet us prior to the event and scope what would work well for our needs and Katie worked diligently with us to allow us to be organized and planned for the day. They really try to fit the experience around your needs and accommodate where possible.
Darren provided great humor, energy and positivity to the event. He provided a clear and concise background to the tasks to avoid confusion and also gave that element of flexibility to ensure the competition was not too rigid or over competitive. Darren controlled the room and the event with ease.

This was a team with a lot of new people who are based across 2 locations – so the Charity Bike Build was a good way to introduce people to each other. The activities were accessible to all involved and they enjoyed them.
The coordination was seamless. Jason and I spoke a couple of times and all was arranged without a hitch. Jason is an excellent and experienced facilitator – and was able to pitch the activities at the right level. We had a fire drill in the middle and he was able to adapt quickly.
Great opportunity to be able to do something to give back to the community yet still have that team bonding environment.

Our team thoroughly enjoyed the day and were totally exhausted by the end of our Adventure Quest. The activities pushed many out of their comfort zones but the team camaraderie was great so team members felt ok to act a little bit silly. There was a good mix of tasks at each stop, with some being quite challenging which was good for problem solving and working together to find a solution.

The Charity Bike Build program was great, a good mix of activities that really allowed for our team to collaborate and get the most out of our individual strengths. Being able to gift the bikes directly to the children/carers at the end of the day was a nice touch. The day went really well. Team games were well received and catered for a variety of different skills and abilities – there was something for everyone within the Survivor.
The program was coordinated well – the games weren’t too long or too short which helped to keep people engaged and participating. Equipment was in good order and rotations through the stations went smoothly.
The facilitators were great- good sense of humour and very friendly. Thank you for a thoroughly enjoyable day!
Unfortunately I was unable to attend the Adventure Quest on the day, but all reports that came back were very positive. Lots of the activities required participants to get well out of their comfort zone which can be scary but really rewarding, now we’ve discovered many hidden talents among our staff that we wouldn’t have before! This was also a great opportunity for us to get staff mingling with people in departments they wouldn’t normally spend much time with, a great bonding experience!
The co-ordination of the program was flawless, communication was great every step of the way and on the day instructions were easy to follow and well communicated.
Just another huge thank you to Louisa and the Total Team gang, you were willing to work with us to fit into our very limited budget which as an NFP is really encouraging and meant that we were able to put on a great day for our staff who work so hard. The questions were great – some of them frazzled our brains, made us laugh and kept us guessing! The activities were fun and some more challenging than we expected!
The coordination of our Adventure Quest was seamless actually, from organizing everyone prior to the event, to the actual day. The team made the day easy from our point of view.
Deryn was instructive before we set off so we knew what to do. He was fun when we returned and I thought he was very fair in his scoring.
It was a great option for a low key, pseudo competitive team building activity and the Location was great too – Cockatoo Island was a great backdrop to the event.
We all had such a fun time on our Adventure Quest. The tasks were a lot more challenging and hence more fun to try to accomplish.
The co-ordination was great. Email responses were quick and I spoke on the phone a couple of times with Louisa.
She was very patient with us, as we were running late. I also liked that she got enthusiastic with us with the messages and at the end.

We had fun during our Vault program and it made us work together with different people that we don’t usually work with closely.
The co-ordination was brilliant!
Darren was awesome, he had us engaged the whole time. It was a fantastic day, we all thought the adventure challenge was awesome that we did a couple of years ago, but the team say that this was better as we weren’t competing against each other, and that we had to work together to get the outcome.
They all reported that the Win it in a Minute was fun and in some cases – “Better than I thought it would be”.
The co-ordination was great, no problems. Always there and responded to emails and phone calls promptly. Nothing was too hard. The facilitators did a great job. It was very hot and they kept up their energy and stamina.
Our MD is thinking of doing it again mid-year as he was impressed. It helped unite all staff whether from production, warehouse, service or office. We got to spend time with others we don’t normally associate with from different branches and put “faces to names”.
The feedback I have received back from my team and also my opinion is that the Treasure Hunt programme was really enjoyable and was a great mix of thinking, physical and problem solving activities. It was inclusive and fun and stimulated participation and our goal of team building/ team work.
The process from beginning to end was very easy, professional and provided me with a high level of comfort and confidence in it being a success. Very professional and highly organized and implemented.
Nicole was encouraging, motivating and yet not ‘over the top’. Overall I would rate her as excellent. She was relaxed, professional, assisted and was able to provide a balance of support without creating an over competitive environment. She made the whole experience enjoyable and fun and yet building team work and participation.

We all enjoyed the Adventure Quest! It was great to see people get out of their comfort zone and get creative with the assignments. We’re still laughing at the pictures. The co-ordination was good, it was great not to have to worry about the organisation of the activity and being able to fully rely on Nicole/Total Team Building. We just had to give a few basic details and everything was taken care of. Nicole was great! We have quite a versatile group of people but she was great at addressing everyone when explaining the Quest and briefing all the teams separately. She made the activity even more easy and fun and was in touch throughout the activity. She’s definitely a great fit for events like this. We might be in touch again for future events or even our Christmas party in December – knowing now that the organisation is truly taken care of for us, it will be an easy decision to pick one of the other events for future!
The Ransom program was very well received, the right level of hard and easy and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves! The program co-ordination was great. Darren did an amazing job, a total professional who knew how to take command of the room and get everyone up and organized! I think you have this down to a fine art. Our team really enjoyed the Treasure Hunt activity, they said it was better than expected. It was engaging, fun and catered to our group’s diverse skill set. The coordination was seamless, as soon as we arrived everything was set up and ready to go. Dealing with Total Team Building from getting the initial quote through to hosting the event has been a breeze. Darren and Nicole were excellent facilitators, they brought energy and fun to the day and managed to make everyone feel comfortable and involved. Total Team Building make an excellent impression – the facilitators clearly know what they were doing and how to do it. The Charity Bike Build program was great, a good mix of activities that really allowed for our team to collaborate and get the most out of our individual strengths. Being able to gift the bikes directly to the children/carers at the end of the day was a nice touch. The coordination of the event was great, any questions I had in regards to the activities was answered promptly and in simple-terms. The team was excellent in helping me keep the activity a secret. Jason and Louisa were terrific, on-time even on short notice and genuinely dedicated. Thanks for all your hard work in bringing this to fruition.

Our Charity Bike Build program was a rewarding experience, they were pleasantly surprised when the kids came to collect their bikes. Everyone had a great time and it definitely brought out the competitive nature of the team, we would definitely recommend this for a future event. The Bridging the Gap program is a really great idea, lots of subtle messages. In the beginning it seems a little overwhelming however how it unfolds is brilliant. The program was very structured and well explained. As organisers, we could relax knowing the activity was going to be managed perfectly by TTB. Darren’s facilitation was excellent. Very clear and he articulated the activity well. TTB are a pleasure to work with, they make our lives so much easier. We have worked with TTB twice now for 2 very different activities and both have been fantastic and very well received by our staff.
The team gave me very positive feedback about our afternoon. The Treasure Hunt was an ideal choice for us with a great mix of activities which were on the whole quite challenging. It brought out a little friendly competitiveness and the way the finale was organised meant that all teams were in with a chance right until the end. The co-ordination was excellent. Very professional, experienced and quick to respond to queries. I felt supported. Darren’s facilitation was great! Lots of people asked about where I had heard about him. Warm, personable, well organized and professional. Couldn’t fault anything.

The Adventure Quest activity was fun and very engaging! We loved the variety of challenges and appreciated having some tailored “scientific” questions. I found Total Team Building to be really enthusiastic, helpful and patient particularly regarding our drastic number changes leading up to the event. Darren made himself available for any questions leading up to the day and was very reassuring that he could handle any issues. The activity was well run and Darren was really enthusiastic and friendly. We had a great time and would definitely run one of these events again!
We participated in the Survivor program. Overall the program was run efficiently and effectively. There was a good mix of activities and had people engaged. Staff were engaging and interactive and made the activities fun. The team were very good at communicating prior to the event and on-site during the activities. The staff made it easy so that we didn’t have to worry about a thing for the period of time the activities were being undertaken. They were clear to understand and made sure everyone was engaged throughout the duration of the activity. We would definitely recommend TTB for any corporate event.
The team was very excited by the idea of the Adventure Quest felt it was well planned and enjoyed most of the activities. They were asking to do something similar in the future and were coming up with ideas about working with TTB in a broader context in our sites. We had great immediate feedback from the team. They said the Adventure Quest was fun and a great way to get to know their team mates on a different level. Everyone definitely had a lot of laughs and there was a fantastic vibe in the room once the game was completed. Teams seemed to find the app easy to use and the game very easy to follow. Given the short time frame, Katie and Darren were great at suggesting and adapting an activity to suit our needs. Communication with Katie was easy and she was very supportive. Since we used TTB services last year, we knew we could rely on them to deliver a fun and successful event. Darren always has great energy and a friendly approach. He was clear on his instructions so teams could get on with tasks quickly and he also did a great wrap up at the end. Our Treasure Hunt was fantastic! It brought us all closer together and helped us build social connections with each other The co-ordination of the program was very good. They were responsive and accommodating to our needs and context, had prompt communication, excellent resources and coordination – Brilliant! Darren was very engaging, motivating and fun. He was flexible with the activities and made the day very enjoyable. Even most reluctant participants surprised themselves and loved the activities.

We really enjoyed getting to know one another better, in an informal setting. The challenges in our Adventure Quest were varied and catered for a range of strengths within the group. So many laughs. Our event was well organised and TTB helped us along the way with frequent contact and advice. Emailing in the lead up to the event was a big stress relief for me – to know that it was going ahead helped allay my fears. Darren and Leigh did a great job of keeping everyone on track. They even administered first aid to one of our injured staff members and involved her when she was unable to participate further. The Adventure Quest was engaging and the students seemed to enjoy the challenges at each location. Louisa and Jason were fantastic to deal with. Extremely responsive and helpful. They instilled confidence that the day would run smoothly and be enjoyed by the students. Teresa was a good facilitator. Her instructions were clear and she provided tech support to a few groups. As our initial numbers were low, she was able to speak to students in the vicinity and invited them to participate in the activity. Thank you for creating an engaging activity for the new students at ACU Brisbane. The students who participated looked like they enjoyed themselves and were able to make some new friends.
The entire team thoroughly enjoyed the day. It engaged everyone, was fun, provided learning for us and had a great compassionate outcome for the children who received the bicycles. I had several staff thank me for arranging our Treasure Hunt at the end of the day. The activities were fun and catered for the physical and not so physical amongst us. I personally had a ball. The arrangements by Katie via email was fantastic and nothing – including last minute changes were too hard. On the day Darren rolled up and did his thing – independent to any chaos or other happenings around the school. I had to do very little but point in the right direction. I would just like to thank you again for the coordination, energy and the incredible people skills you have. We have now had you run whole school and teacher events very successfully.
We really enjoyed the bowls and by then it was warmer and nice and sunny too. Good facilities, shade for the baby and I could even get a coffee! It was fun, relaxed and good for morale at a time when we needed a lift. It was a fun way for improving team spirit. A practice of how to divide work based on team member abilities to achieve the goal more effectively and experiencing a nice feeling of achievement as a part of a team. Everything we needed was there. It was well prepared and the timing was spot on. Darren did a good job. Darren was organized, personable and coordinated the activities very well. It was efficient and well-organized. Loved the contents of the Treasure Chest, we are all partial to choccies!

The “Charity Bike Build” was the perfect team building activity for our group. Both challenging and fun with lots of other activities to keep people fully engaged in the morning. Having the children come to collect their bicycles at the end imbued meaning to the activity. The smiles on their faces will always be remembered!
From the very beginning, until it was all packed up, communications with Katie and Darren were professional, easy and extremely well handled. There was good consideration of issues such as safety and logistics and flexibility as required. We appreciated the extras such as the photos taken on the day which help to recall our learnings back in the workplace. Our Win it in a Minute was excellent. It was short, sharp, varied and challenging. It was interesting, fun and participative for all there. The activities suited all and were well organized. There was an appropriate level of detail about the requirement in each event, the sequencing of events and sufficient time allocated to each. The event was well organised and I liked the video instructions. For what was required for the HR Team on the day – it was a perfect fit. Team Building was awesome – Darren was great, energetic and everything was really well organised.

When we originally told staff we were doing bare foot bowls they were not very excited to be honest, but on the day the competitive streak came out and everyone commented on how great it was. To the point we would continue this activity next year. Nicole and TTB were fantastic and made the day extremely relaxed, organised and fun. It was nice not having to worry about a thing and just enjoy the event. See you next year!
Our South32 team was very pleased with the whole Charity Bike Build program. We had a very cultural and age diverse group, however, everyone was able to participate in all activities which was great. Our entire team left the day feeling a true sense of achievement and purpose. Thank you! Darren did a top job as our facilitator. The staff were very happy with the Charity Bike Build program. There was a very positive buzz in the room while the activities were being carried out and everyone was involved. I particularly appreciated the Make a Wish Foundation volunteers coming in to collect the bikes and tell us about what the foundation does. Darren did a great job in coordinating and facilitating the event. As I only approached you at the last minute, it was great that you were able to provide your service at such short notice.
Over all the feedback regarding our Treasure Hunt was very positive with staff commenting that it is the best Team Building Day they have experienced. We received some very positive feedback from staff. The Scavenger Hunt was something completely different to what we have done as a staff previously. The team building aspect was particularly enjoyed by everyone and interacting will staff that they would not normally interact with on a daily basis. Everyone enjoyed our Win it in a Minute program and got involved in the game! Friendly competition! Darren was fantastic! He really engaged the staff, participated in the event and seemed to enjoy being part of the program with our staff. He has everything set up ready for our staff to begin the program and was well organized! I have had two involvements now with Total Team Building and on both occasions communication was thorough and well organized as were the programs! The winners’ medallions were a brilliant and personal touch with our school name and program engraved on it! These were really well received by staff – and I might add – worn proudly around the school the next day! Also the practice time was well utilised!!
Our Treasure Hunt was an excellent event. It was well presented and was ideal for the needs of my staff – a very clever combination of activities.
